The Wine List (UK) This is another bone dry wine `{`…`}`. Clean as a whistle, `{`…`}` this is the perfect apéritif wine by Matthew Jukes
90/100 Wine Enthusiast (US) Well on the dry side of brut, this wine pushes acidity and the freshest citrus along with an apple-skin texture.
Bob Campbell Wine Reviews (NZ) Richer and more complex with more bready lees character and less fruit. Perfectly dry but nicely balanced.
Coup de Coeur Guide Revel (CA)
Champagne Guide (AUS) 93 points: Best Champagne under $60

R.P62/20

Brut
R.P62/20 - Perpetuelle Reserve from 1962 to 2020
An exceptional champagne, unique, with the “Dumangin reserve” carried on year on year since 1962 (probably longer but only record we have is 1962 the date the 4th generation of Dumangin started working). Kept in stainless steel after the 1980s, we decided to age 40% of the reserve in barrels for re-blending with the rest a year later and bottle it. A true gem in the champagne world brought to you by the Alchimiste en Champagne

Essi Avellan : Champagne Grower report 2025 90 Points
Very few producers can boast a perpetual reserve continuing since 1962, but Dumangin can. Adding to the storyline, it is kept in glass-lined tankes built by Gilles Dumangin’s ancestor Hippolyte in 1910. The nose is restrained with floral Meunier fruit prevailing. Fresh, intense and feisty on the palate

Dumangin is particularly successful with its rosé. The 2012 edition is a blend of four villages, with the Tonnelles plot in Rilly-la-Montagne giving it its extremely delicate peachy hue. Delightful peach and wild-strawberry nose, with a lovely underlying toastiness bringing classy complexity. Fleshy and round, yet simultaneously zippy, this wine has taken the lengthy time on lees remarkably well and is drinking just brilliantly. Pristine fruitiness and creamy-caressing texture – an ingenious rosé style, both quaffable and refined. Dosage: 4g/l

2010 - Le Vintage - Premier Cru
Our vintages are classy, elegant, full of flavours and aged about just the right time to express the full capacity of their flavours. On lies for over 10 years prior to disgorgement, we only add a small amount of dosage.
