The Essence of Champagne

You may not be familiar with the Champagnes of J. Dumangin, but believe me, after you meet Gilles Dumangin, you will be.
I’ve met him at Vinexpo in Bordeaux, where I tasted through several of his wines, and also in Chicago, my hometown, where he was showing of some special cuvées. He’s a tireless promoter of his wines, which you really have to be, when you’re a small, not very well known producer. Anyway, Gilles is up to the challenge of producing, selling, and talking about his wines, which are very impressive, by the way.
